- (b) Permitted Use: You may use our creative and administrative services strictly in accordance with these Terms. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or resale of website structural content is strictly prohibited.
- (c) Prohibited Conduct: You may not upload or submit manuscripts containing unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content. Any activity violating applicable law may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.

3. Refunds & Cancellations
Our complete fulfillment and cancellation terms are explicitly detailed in our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms an essential part of these Terms. In summary:
- You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial payment, provided active production or design work has not yet started.
- Once structural service work has commenced, a stage-based partial refund applies (75% / 50% / 25%), with no refund applicable once a project is 75% or more complete or after major design deliverables have been approved by you.
- Third-party operational costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, ISBN registration, distribution network fees, or physical printing proofs) and expedited/rush fees are non-refundable once incurred.
- You may cancel your project at any time in writing; your exact refund entitlement is determined strictly by the stage of service completion at the time of cancellation.
- To formally request a cancellation or refund, please contact us at info@vermontbookpublishers.com. If any summary item in these Terms appears to conflict with the master Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Refund & Cancellation Policy shall govern.
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
- Website Assets: All intellectual property related to the Website design, brand assets, and structural text remains the sole property of Vermont Book Publishers and its parent entity, Apploid Studio Store LLC, unless explicitly transferred in writing.
- Deliverable Rights: Upon final invoice payment, clients receive full ownership rights to the finalized, approved file deliverables only. Draft concepts, exploratory revisions, and unused layout materials remain the intellectual property of our agency.
- Portfolio Authorization: Vermont Book Publishers may request the right to display completed projects or cover designs for portfolio and promotional purposes, subject entirely to the client's prior explicit written consent.
